“Dr. Jae Pak is an artist. It’s great to also know how to do a transplant but he made the grafts grow so even on my face”

This patient of Jae Pak MD Medical always wanted the flexibility to grow his facial hair in any style. He had two FUE surgeries, the first to fill in his mustache and goatee area. He came back less than a year later to have a full beard filled in.

Creating a full beard can sometimes be a two-step surgery process. Only so many grafts can safely be implanted into the scalp or face at one time without causing too much trauma to the skin. With hair transplants, it is a mistake to assume that more grafts are always better.

Many doctors make the mistake of implanting too many grafts at one time and too close together. This can cause the grafts to die and be wasted, or cause permanent damage to the skin called “cobblestoning”. Dr. Pak is conservative in his approach to ensure you have the best long-term and permanent results.
